For Provisional Card – You only need to pass 45 minute touch screen CITB health and safety environment test for the operative. After passing the test you can apply to CSCS to get your card issued.

For Green Card – You only need to pass 45 minute touch screen CITB health and safety environment test for operative and also have to complete CSCS Health, Safety and Awareness Course or Level 1 Award which is equivalent to HAS Course (Health, Safety and Environment Course). This is popularly known as 1 day course.

- Health Safety Awareness Course is valid only for 5 years so after 5 years when you want to apply to renew your card you have to do it once again.
