Types of CSCS Cards

CSCS Card Types

CSCS card is becoming mandatory for an individual to potentially access and work within the construction site.  It acts as proof that the cardholder has been officially trained in the health and safety of their respective trade. It also ensures that the tradesperson also holds an industry-recognized qualification.

There are different types of CSCS cards available as per trade so it is important that you should hold CSCS cards as per your trade and skill level so that you will be able to get work on a safe, professionally run building construction site. It is important to carry the right card as per work as spot checks are often carried out by authorities on sites using handheld scanners to confirm the legitimacy of the card. An invalid or expired card or a card that does not cover the job that you are carrying on-site could result in you immediately asking to leave the site.
