What languages are available for the CITB test?

All workers working in the construction industry need to take the CSCS test before they start working for any construction-related work. We all know that in the United Kingdom people work who have different backgrounds and communicate with their language as for many English is not their first language. CITB Health, Safety Environment Test in Different Languages

Generally, CSCS Health, Safety and Environment test will be in the English language. But to ensure that other candidates whose first language is not English or whose English knowledge is weak to understand and grasp the questions accurately and answer them properly CITB has made the provision for them for voice-over. Such candidates can request their test in any of the languages mentioned below:

• Spanish 

If you desire to take the test in any of the languages please ensure to confirm the language at the time of booking of CITB Test. Later once the booking is done and you request that your paper to be replaced with another language then that change will not be possible to make. The voice-over in the above languages is applicable in CITB Health, Safety and Environment test for operative only.

For Specialists or Managers and Professionals CITB test is available in English and Welsh voice-over only.

How to pay for booking the CITB Test in another language?

The process of booking the CITB test is simple whether you want to book it for the English language or for any other language. You can book the same online on CSCS website or you can also book it on call with CSCS and pay for the booking using your Visa or Mastercard. The process for booking both kind of CSCS tests is the same and will also cost you the same. The only point which is important is "do not miss to inform your language preference at the time of booking".  

Will the questions be in English or native language?

In CITB test questions are written in English language mostly but you can get the voice-over in your native language so that you can easily understand the question and answer them accurately.

How many questions are there in CSCS Test?

There are 50 questions that are required to be answered.

What is the passing score for the CITB test?

You need to score 45 out of 50 for the CITB test for operative. For the Specialist, Managers and Professional test (MAP) you need to score 46 out of 50.

What is the time and mode of the CSCS Test?

CSCS test is an objective type touch screen test of 45 minutes. You need to complete the entire test in 45 minutes.

What time I am required to reach the test center?

You need to reach 15 minutes prior to the test time with your relevant identity proofs.
