Quickest way to renew the card

 The fastest way to get your old card renewed is to contact CSCS website and use their online application service. To make the entire process smooth and hassle-free there are many affiliate companies which support customers in card renewal and card issuance.

If you already have the login account on the CSCS website then you can apply for card renewal while logging in CSCS portal.

 

If you don’t have an account on the CSCS website then we recommend you to create your account on CSCS website. You can create your account by visiting their “Applying For Cards” page and filling in your details and following the steps which are mentioned on the screen.

Important Note:

1.  Red Provisional Card cannot be renewed as it is only valid for 6 months and is a non-renewable card.

2.  Green Labourer Card is valid for 5 years but to get the same renewed you have to undergo Health Safety Awareness Course and CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for operative.

3.  Similarly for cards like Academically Qualified Person (AQP) and Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) can not be renewed and for these cards you have to apply for new card. Companies like Construction Cards (constructioncards@gmail.com) can efficiently support you in this.

What do you need to do to get your card renewed?

To renew an old CSCS card individual needs to prove he has the appropriate training and qualifications required to carry out the job. For almost all type of CSCS Cards CITB Health Safety and Environment test needs to be passed by individuals.

Construction Cards can help you in booking yourself for CITB Test at the nearest test center on your preferred timings.

Factors that decide the type of CSCS card you will get

1.  Type of work you do

2.  Your qualifications or your membership of a professional body

These factors will determine which type of CSCS card you should apply for and which test you need to pass.

You must advise the card issuing authority (CSCS) if you have changed occupation since your existing CSCS card was issued by CSCS.

You can also use a card finder to get a basic understanding that which cards and tests are right for you to pass which you can get the CSCS card.

How soon or late can I renew by existing CSCS Card?

CSCS cards can only be renewed 6 months prior to, and up to 6 months after, the expiry date printed on your existing CSCS card.
