What is the objective of doing an NVQ?

What is CITB test?

CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test is also popularly known as CSCS Test is an important and integral part of any construction worker training as it ensures that they are safe while working on any construction related project but also makes working on-site a safe place for other fellow workers as well by opting various safe methods and protocol for working.  CITB test is of 45 minutes and in these 45 minutes, a candidate has to attempt and answer 50 questions to test their understanding and knowledge of health., safety and various environmental issues which they can encounter while working on site.  A candidate has to get minimum 45 marks in the case of the CITB test for operatives and 46 marks in the case of the CITB test for specialists and managers & professionals.  If a candidate fails to pass the test on the first attempt then he/she can re-sit for the test by paying for the test again.
